Randi E. Taub is a lead attorney in the Berger, Fischoff, Shumer, Wexler & Goodman, LLP, real estate department. Ms. Taub joined the firm in 2018 after her more than 30 year association with firm partner, Joel Wexler.
Ms. Taub personally represents a 200+ unit co-op in closing transactions. She prepares all documentation required for closings including certifications and affidavits and reviews Estate proceedings for the transfers of title.
Ms. Taub represents numerous lenders in residential real estate transactions for the financing and acquisitions of single and multi family properties. She is responsible for all aspects of the loan closing process from inception to post-closing, including drafting loan documents for lenders providing asset-backed and mortgage financing. She performs lender’s due diligence including review of borrower’s organizational and related documents, insurance certificates and leases while resolving complex title and survey issues and works closely with loan agents, mortgage brokers and loan processors.
Additionally, Ms. Taub represents purchasers and sellers of residential real estate including drafting and negotiating contracts of sale, riders, agreements and transfer documents. She reviews and resolves title issues and attends closings.
Ms. Taub is a 1982 graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a 1985 graduate of Brooklyn Law School with an Admission Date of March 19, 1986. She is also admitted to the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and is a Member of the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York City Civil and Criminal Court Bar Association and is a Lifetime member of Hadassah as well as Yashar – the Attorney’s and Judges Chapter of Hadassah.
In her spare time, Ms. Taub volunteers with The Long Island Blues Special Needs Hockey Club,
Inc. and the Nassau County PAL Special Needs Unit.
Ms. Taub makes her home in Nassau County with her Husband and son.
