Gary C. Fischoff, has been practicing Real Estate and Bankruptcy law for the past 35 years and is celebrating more than 25 years as an AV Preeminent Rated Attorney*. His bankruptcy clients cover the full myriad of debtor-creditor matters, including representing both debtors and creditors. His experience ranges from handling complex corporate reorganization matters in Chapter 11 to the simplest individual consumer Chapter 7. Mr. Fischoff is widely recognized as one of Long Island’s leading bankruptcy practitioners and has appeared regularly on News 12 and in Newsday offering commentary on bankruptcy issues of the day. He is a founding member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the leading national organization dedicated to protecting the rights of consumer debtors. Mr. Fischoff is also a recipient of the Nassau County Bar Association Proclamation Recognizing Outstanding Efforts Towards Pro Bono Program, 1996; Pro Bono Attorney of the Month of March, 1998, November 2005 and April 2017, and has been chosen as a Top Legal Eagle for 2017 and Top Attorney of North America for 2016-2017.

Gary C. Fischoff received his B.A. from The State University of New York at Buffalo in 1976. He graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in 1983 and is a member of the Bar for the States of New Jersey (1983) and the State of New York (1984). He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States, he was certified as a specialist in business and consumer bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification in 1993.
