Christopher Wellington was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2016. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2011, and his Juris Doctor Degree from American University, Washington College of Law in 2015.
Mr. Wellington joined the real estate department of Berger, Fischoff, Shumer, Wexler & Goodman, LLP in 2017 and has been a vital member of our real estate team from the outset. He handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, from both the seller and purchaser side. He also regularly represents banks such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, NBKC, Freedom Mortgage, Cross Country Mortgage, FM Home Loans and Santander, to name a few.
Mr. Wellington has also represented small businesses in various transactional matters including forming business entities, securing investor funding, and obtaining tax exempt status for Not-for-Profit organizations.
In addition, Mr. Wellington handles Landlord/Tenant proceedings representing both landlords and tenants on a case by case basis.
Mr. Wellington is a member of the Queens and New York State Bar Associations and makes his home in Nassau County.
